A state-of-the-art 50kWp solar system has been installed in Nottingham, demonstrating the significant advantages of renewable energy for commercial applications.
Our client is a mid-sized commercial warehouse with a nearly flat roof system.
The system comprises 100 high-performance Logi Tier 1 solar panels and a Solax inverter, ensuring reliable and efficient energy generation.
It produces an impressive 42,313 kWh of electricity annually, with 35,754 kWh consumed directly on-site. This means 85% of the generated energy is utilized by the facility, while the remaining 15% is exported to the grid.
This installation offsets approximately 23.8% of the site’s total energy needs, with the potential for future expansion to increase its impact further.
Environmentally, it avoids the release of 8,456 kilograms of carbon dioxide each year, contributing to the site’s sustainability goals.
Financially, the system is designed for long-term savings. It will achieve full payback in under four years, making it a highly cost-effective investment.
Over its 25-year lifespan, the system is expected to generate over £210,000 worth of electricity, offering substantial economic and environmental benefits.
This Nottingham project underscores the growing importance of renewable energy in reducing costs, cutting emissions, and enhancing sustainability for businesses. Solar PV is not just an energy solution—it’s a future-proof investment.”
